Have you heard of a drink called #Rawine? Me thinks you probably have not.
The main ingredients for the drink are:
The gentleman delivering the product (Hiram), was courteous enough to drive almost seven kilometers, out of his way to deliver to me my 'Handas' effect.
The package arrived as promised and was neatly packed, including a tamper proof seal, to assure the end consumer, that the product had not been tampered with since packing.
As usual before you eat anything new you smell it first. There was a hint of something herbal in it, but this did not put me off; as I had come across a similar smell with mojitos, especially if you stir the peppermint too hard.
Next came the taste-bud test. Smooth and I could get the taste of the peppermint leaves and beetroot at a distance. It was neither too sweet nor plain like water.
I had a few buddies try it out, and they too were impressed, that it was a local product ,as they continued to savor the taste.
All in all, I think this is has the potential to become a great herbal product with a large consumer base and it is an amazing attempt by an enterprising team.
However I would like to see it tested and certified, by a regulatory authority KEBS. This would go a long way in boosting consumer confidence, when selling, purchasing and partaking the drink.
