Safaricom To Pay Over 25m Customers Ksh 1 Million Each

An Mpesa subscriber has written to the Communications Authority Of Kenya notifying them of a dispute between Safaricom and its subscribers.

The letter that is also copied to the Telco is copied to the communication authority as the regulator of telephon operators in Kenya.

According to the complaint, Safaricom is accused of contemptuously neglecting to respond to the client’s initial dispute resolution proposal, to admit liability for negligence regarding the outages and to refund to each Mpesa subscriber of the Mpesa services pursuant to the Kenya Information and communications ( Dispute Resolution) Regulations, 2010.
